Events
All of the support and information provided by the NCT is great, but
what about when you want to get out and about and meet people? No
problem! The Neighbourhood Organisers and Social and Fundraising
Team work tirelessly on planning events so that people can meet up
and enjoy themselves, both with their children and on their own for
a bit of adult-only company. Here are some of the great things
currently planned.

And if it's just a cup of tea and a chat that you fancy, well we can
do that too. Being a member of the NCT is a great opportunity for
you and your child to make lots of new friends. Dropping into one of
the regular teas and coffees is one way of doing this. Each month
there are a number of events across the area.
 Newcomers
These are for anyone who is new to the area, with a family or
expecting a family. Lots of new friendships are formed this way. But
don't feel that you can only come to these, come to as many other
events as you like. Contact the
Membership Secretary for more information.
Bumps and Babies
Are you expecting a baby and have recently stopped working? Or
perhaps you have already given birth and have a small baby. Either
way, you would probably enjoy a relaxing afternoon chatting with
other new parents & parents-to-be. Our weekly "Bumps and Babies"
sessions in central Harpenden could be just the thing!
When : Every Tuesday between 1.15pm & 2.45pm
Where: Wesley's, High Street Methodist Church,
Harpenden.
A charge of £1.50 will be made to cover venue hire

Events, Teas and Coffees
These are held regularly in all areas. There are likely to be older
children at these events, however, everyone is welcome, including
those who are pregnant for the first time or have newborns, as well
as those whose children are just about to start school!
A donation of 50p is requested to cover expenses.
Please feel free to attend any event, not just those in your
immediate area.
Bottle feeding facilities are available at all teas and coffees and,
of course, you're welcome to breastfeed.

Nearly New Sale
Twice a year, NCT members and past members have the opportunity to
sell nearly new clothes, toys, equipment, and maternity wear. This also raises much-needed funds for
the NCT, with sellers receiving 70% of the sale price and the NCT
receiving 30%.
You don't have to be a member to attend the sale, everyone is
welcome!
